Suffolk Public Schools World Languages Program
The Suffolk Public Schools World Language program focuses on developing students' interpersonal, interpretive, and presentational language proficiency. Students will also develop an in-depth understanding and appreciation of cultures that speak the languages studied. To support these goals, the SPS World Language staff provide best practices in the world language classroom that focus on proficiency development and culturally-relevant, performance-based learning activities to include instructional resources that are aligned with the Virginia Standards of Learning and the ACTFL proficiency standards.
