The Suffolk City School Board is now accepting letters of interest and resumes for the following Citizen Advisory Committees for the 2025-2026 School Year:
- Career and Technical Education Advisory Council
- Gifted Education Advisory Committee
- Local Advisory Committee for Special Education
- Title I Parent Advisory Council
- School Health Advisory Board
- School Safety Audit Committee

All letters of interest must include the following:
- Applicant's Name
- Address
- Phone Number
- Email Address
- Committee of Interest
All letters of interest and resumes must be received by 5 p.m. on June 9, 2025, to be considered for a committee.
School Board members wishing to reappoint current members to the Citizen Advisory Committees for the 2025-2026 school year must submit their request for reappointment in writing to the Clerk of the School Board 48 hours prior to the June 12, 2025, meeting. Requests for reappointment should include the following:
- Current committee member's name and contact information
- Name of committee of reappointment
The Clerk will receive and compile all letters and resumes and will forward them to School Board members for consideration once the application deadline has been reached. School Board members will review all information and will select appointees at the School Board Meeting on June 12, 2025, for the 2025-2026 school year.
