April is Month of the Military Child!
At Northern Shores Elementary, we want to honor and celebrate our military-connected students.

We know especially that elementary school military kids serve too!

Join us in our spirit days during the month of April:

-Tuesday, April 9- Patriotic Day!

Wear the patriotic symbols (eagle/star/flag) or colors of red, white and blue.

-Thursday, April 11- Cool Camo Day!
Wear something with a camo print.

-Wednesday, April 17- Purple Up Day!

Wear purple to show support and thank military children for their strength and sacrifices. This day is recognized by VDOE and across SPS!

-Tuesday, April 23- Travel Tuesday!

Wear something from a different state, culture or country.
Or you can wear something to represent your branch of the military.

-Thursday, April 25- Remembrance Day!

Many of our military-connected students have loved ones deployed.

Wear RED to Remember Everyone Deployed.
