Diploma Options
High school students are required to earn 22 credits to graduate with a standard diploma and 26 credits for an advanced studies diploma. Beyond a high school diploma, students have diploma options including Academic Scholars, Early College Scholars, and Paul D. Camp Community College Degree or Certificate.

Service Learning Requirement
Students who enrolled in grade 9 in 2020-21 and beyond will be required to complete a service learning experience embedded in a core area course. Service learning experiences enable students to learn to apply academic, social and personal skills to improve the community, continue individual growth, and develop a lifelong ethic of service.
Virginia's Credentialing Initiative
First-time ninth graders in the 2013-2014 school year and beyond must earn a Virginia Department of Education approved Career and Technical Education industry credential to graduate from high school with a standard diploma.
