Welcome to the Lakeland High School Athletics Site. Lakeland competes in 3A VHSL East.

Student athletes learn many character building traits like teamwork, perseverance, and work ethic when they are involved in sports. Sporting activities are also a way to develop social skills and self esteem.

Lakeland High School offers many sports for both young men and young women. We abide by the rules and regulations of the Virginia High School League.

All student athletes must have a current VHSL physical on file with the Activities Director in order to try out and/or participate in any sport.

Fall Sports include:
Cross Country
Fall Cheering/Competition Cheering
JV & Varsity Field Hockey
JV & Varsity Football
Golf
Scholastic Bowl (this activity crosses between Fall & Winter)
Volleyball
