Yes, all students at all schools are eligible to receive breakfast and lunch at no cost.

How do I receive a P-EBT card?
All SPS students attending school in person are eligible to receive a P-EBT card for Summer 2023. This is because all students at Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) public schools are receiving breakfast and lunch at no cost are eligible. These cards are issued by the Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS). SPS is not able to issue P-EBT cards. Please contact VDSS with questions. Please direct questions to the P-EBT Call Center at 866-513-1414 or 804-294-1633 Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. You may also use the P-EBT Online Inquiry Form.

How is SPS able to serve free lunch?
SPS operates the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) which allows all of our students the opportunity to eat breakfast and lunch at no cost.

Since meals are free, why can't my student get an extra meal?
The CEP program only allows for one breakfast and lunch per student to be reimbursed. Students may choose to purchase a second meal using their account.

Where can I view the lunch menus?
You can view lunch menus online or on the LINQ Connect App (Formerly Titan) If you previously had a Titan family Portal account it is the same username and password just a new name and upgraded features. https://linqconnect.com/public/menu/5DJPRG

Why are students made to take certain items?
Students must take a reimbursable meal, in order to participate in the program and receive meals at no cost. This is a federal program requirement.

Why do I need an account if meals are free?
We must have accountable in order to meet participate in the CEP program. Accounts are also required if students wish to purchase snacks.
