The Suffolk Public Schools office of Communication and Community Engagement participates in #SPSCommunitySaturdays, where our team voluntarily serves as a vendor at community-based programs and events throughout the City of Suffolk. The goal is to build strong mutually-beneficial partnerships and relationships with community organizations to help bridge the gap between school and community.

Dancing With The Characters
On Saturday, March 9, the SPS Community Engagement team gave out free book bags and books at the 3rd annual "Dancing with the Characters" event at the E. Suffolk Recreation Center, hosted by Characters 4 Kidz owner Christopher Hearn. Thank you to the United Way of South Hampton Roads for providing books for us to share with our youth.
