- Special exceptions to requiring parent payment will be considered for students whose parent/guardian is able to demonstrate, through appropriate documentation, that the child’s mental, emotional, or physical health may be severely and negatively impacted by attending in-person classes. A period of Medical Homebound may be required before virtual options are considered.
- Students seeking special exception status must have acceptable attendance and meet the grading criteria expectations in core classes during the school year in which the application is completed. Program reviews will take place at the quarterly and end of semester marking periods. Considerations will be made for circumstances that are the direct result of the condition for which the special exception is requested. This will be confirmed during the processing of your request.
- Program re-enrollment is not guaranteed.
- Families with approved medical exceptions must present appropriate documentation following the same timeline (every 9-weeks) as Medical Homebound updates.
- Parents/Guardians wishing to be considered for a special exception should complete the form no later than May 10, 2024.
